Gypsum Daze Parade

Since 1983, Valley Road has been vibrant with the fun of the Gypsum Daze Parade, drawing hundreds of attendees to the warm family community of Gypsum, CO! It is filled with fun culminating in our Gypsum Fire and Airport Trucks hosing down the crowd to keep cool on a hot summer day.  

We welcome any and all organizations to participate in the Parade. This is a great opportunity for your group or business to share your heritage, talents, services, and pride with our community. ENTRY FORM COMING SOON.

THEME: Coming Soon

PRIZES: 1st place $300, 2nd Place $200, 3rd Place $100 

JUDGING CRITERIA: Creativity, enthusiasm, and adherence to theme,

PREP & LINEUP: Ridley's Market at 8:15 AM

NOTE: If you are planning to hand out candy or any kind of giveaway from your float, for safety reasons please do not toss the items from the float but rather have people walk beside the float and hand the items to crowd members. We do not want anyone running into the street to catch an item and potentially getting hurt. Thank you.
